THE Red Ribbon Challenge

The Red Ribbon Challenge will kick off on September 26 with Family Day™ – A Day to Eat Dinner with Your Children and end on October 22 on RedRibbonRun.com. Students in Grades K-8 can register for FREE and complete at least 9 challenges to earn a chance to win a special prize! The Red Ribbon Challenge is open for anyone who would like to register for free and participate in online challenge activities, however prizes will not be available for older students, adults, or non-registered participants.

InnerAct Alliance and our title sponsor Publix Super Markets invite you to participate in the 2022 Red Ribbon Run on Saturday morning, October 29, around picturesque Lake Mirror to prevent harm and promote health! 

 

Students in grades K-8 can register for FREE for the Red Ribbon Kids Fun Run and parents
and adults may run with their children in the Family Fun Run, which will begin at 8:30 AM,
before the Grade Level Heats. It’s a fun family event that will also include a 
new Florida Dairy
Farmers Fitness Fun Zone
to celebrate healthy food and fitness plus weekly online challenges
with themes of nutrition, anti-bullying, and fitness in a virtual format beginning on September 26 at RedRibbonRun.com (under the Challenge Registration Page). Participants may complete challenges and post them on the Red Ribbon Run Facebook page to earn points for prizes!

 

Race Day Check-In @ 7:00 a.m.
 at the Lake Mirror Auditorium – Lakeland, Florida
Family Fun Run – 8:30 a.m.

Kids Fun Run Grade Level Heats – 8:45 a.m.

Parents running in the Family Fun Run pay a $5 fee per adult

Registration for the Kids Fun Run is FREE prior to October 29. There will be a $5 fee to register on the DAY OF THE RACE!  Participants receive a commemorative Run t-shirt (shirt not guaranteed after October 10th). The Kids Fun Run will start and finish at Lake Mirror Promenade. K-8 students will receive awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies in male and female categories. Awards will also be given to the top 3 elementary schools and top middle school with the largest percentage of students participating, based on school census numbers. The private school with the highest percentage of participation will also receive a trophy.

Awards Ceremony for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each heat will begin after the last heat is run.

Prize Distribution
